Happy Easter sweetheart
I am the resurrection and the life. If anyone believes in me, even though he dies he will live, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

Dear Nespor family,
I am incredibly sorry for your loss of dear Barbara. It was a privilege to work with her at Valley View. I especially looked forward to the Christmas parties she hosted in her beautiful home and the "ladies night out" dinners we had over the years. Barbara was never at a loss for words and always made me laugh. She was always kind to me.
I pray that God would ease the pain you're going through now and give you peace that can only come from Him.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful woman with me.
Sincerely,
Charlie Higby

My Dearest Friend
We met thirty-five years ago while serving as room mothers in a kindergarten class at Big Springs Elementary – helping our sons’ teacher. We enjoyed all the years when our children progressed through school together and we became good closer friends. Our husbands were fellow alumni of Loyola University and also became good friends.
Barbara and I socialized together at parties, nights each month devoted to bunko and pinochle games and Thursday lunches at In-N-Out. We also loved to share pictures and stories of our grandchildren. We always called or texted each other with good news and bad and laughed and cried together.
She once sent some a note:
“My handpicked family, my partner in crime and my personal therapist:
Thank you for the constant reminder in life that people don’t always suck.”
She was my dearest friend with a big heart full of kindness for everyone and she will always remain in my heart.
‘We weren’t sisters by birth, but we knew from the start . . .
Fate brought us together to be sisters by heart.”

Thank you Father in Heaven for our Aunt Barbara. Thank you for the heart you gave her to love You and love her family. She will be missed.
Although I don't have a clear picture of Heaven, I lovingly anticipate the day that we will be together for eternity. ~Amen
Aunt Barbara was always fun. I'm sure I'm not alone in stating that there are great memories with this special lady as our aunt. The Lord has blessed us with her along our journey through this temporary life. I thank Him for that!
Life is a vapor.

This is a very sad time for the entire Dantona Family, who knew and loved Barbara. She was someone who would help anyone and everyone who needed it. She watched over my children at sequoia jr. high and was someone who always brought a smile and laughter to anyone near her. She will never be gone so long as she remains in our hearts and are minds. Barb RIP and know you will always have a special place in the hearts of the Dantonas.

Words cannot express how much of a loss Barbara is to all of us here at the Senior Center. She was not only a wonderful volunteer, but a good friend to many of us. Her huge heart, empathy for others and desire to serve made her truly special. It is hard to accept that she is no longer with us, because she was always so full of life!
I feel truly blessed to have known her. May her memory be eternal!
Best,
Claudia Hapip
