I went to high school with Marilyn (Lyons Tonwship) and we were BFF's. I was born 1 day before her (June 29th) and I always kidded her that I was her older sister. We did a lot of crazy kids stuff back then and Marilyn was full of life and laughed all of the time. We drove around cruising the neighborhoods and the local McDonald's, smoked cigarettes (yuck!), drank beer, partied, and just had a blast being high school kids. We loved each other as true friends do. I went to her wedding when she became Mrs. Moniz in Fremont, CA. I sent her Christmas cards every year with pictures of my family and she did the same. She let me know that she retired due to MS several years back and today I opened the Lyons Township Alumni News paper that I received in the mail only to see her name in the "In Memoriam" section. My heart sank......
My most hearfelt condolences to the family. She loved you all so very much and was so proud of all of you. I would have loved to be at her service if I had known. RIP my dear friend. Donna
