Though a few years have passed I am glad to be able to add my memory of Jim. Aside from high school at Olympus, he was my first companion in The Northern California Mission. My first assignment with Jim was in Susanville, California, a logging community. With only limited funds at the time I remember we survived on tomatoes day and night. True to being my senior companion, he wasted no time in seeing to my memorization of the discussions. Being a former deputy I take joy in his service in the LAPD as a police officer. I'm sure he was superior in his commands as a captain. Blessings on his wife and family, now and always! His life was certainly a noble and dedicated one.

Jim was a great person. I worked for him in North Hollywood. Great boss who became a good friend.
