Obituary of Iris Elizabeth Mankin
The life of Iris Elizabeth Mankin “Betty” , 56, of Thousand Oaks California ended abruptly after a long journey battling a rare form of cancer. Thursday November 23rd 2017 at 11:25AM, Thanksgiving, at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills.
She was born on February 8th 1961 in Albany, New York to her parents Herman Daniel Guyett and Margaret Ruth Turner.
Loving mother to her six children; Natasha Haas Williams (Mankin), Amber Guzman (Mankin), Tillie Smith (Mankin), Britnie Miller (Blake), Dean Webster Jr and Raymond Webster (2001-2017). She was an amazing grandmother to her six grandchildren; Katherine Azcarraga, Autumn Azcarraga, Elisa Guzman, Vincent Haas, James Smith, Lyla Smith.
Her career was to take care of others- and anyone who knew Iris, loved her kind heart, loving smile, warm heart and beautiful soul. She was a nurse in pediatrics for many years before moving to pulmonology at a private practice office with Dr. Ramin Mehdian of Newbury Park, Ca.
A friend to all who knew her, kind and loving soul. She was ready to live out eternity with her son Raymond who passed away of cancer in February 2017.
A Celebration of Life and Funeral Services to take place at Rose Family Mortuary in Simi Valley, California the first weekend of December 2017.
