My earliest memories of our Greaney Family always included the three Greaney Girls from Sunland/Tujunga, Letty “the oldest”, Kathy “middle child” and Carol “the baby”. I really appreciated how, during my summer visits, they took care to include me in their adventures and make to sure I had a good time. And because I was closest in age to Carol, she was always my sidekick. It was impossible to be with her and not be happy. She had the best laugh ever. It was absolutely contagious. Over the years celebrating the holidays together, you see our two Fathers were the first of the large Greaney Clan to migrate west to California from Buffalo; Carol never lost that ability to share being happy. I will miss Carol and that laughter but it is always how I will carry her in my heart.
