I am so pleased and at the same time so sorry to read about Anne’s life here. As children, we were close. Our fathers were cousins, and we socialized with the whole Grandchamp family frequently. I have fond memories of growing up with her and her brother Ray Jr. Her father, Ray, who we called “Uncle Pete” was always fun, and we all loved Aunt Adele. The last time I saw her, I helped her write a resume for a job in RI. That was so long ago. I don’t know what made me look her up, but I wondered what had happened to her. We were both born in 1951. I am pleased to hear that she met and married a wonderful man and had a happy life. He must miss her very much. My sincere condolences, albeit so very late. She was a lovely person. So sweet.

I was just on the computer looking for something with the family and I saw this. I am quite sad to hear this news, we were close at one point, she was my sister in law. I have lots of fond memories but the most I am thankful for is she taught me how to play the guitar, I continue to play to this day a long with the tunes she taught me. She was Godmother to my daughter. She is now at peace I am sure, but my heart is sad to see this as it is new.
