Phyllis Wyatt Obituary Phyllis Joan Wyatt passed away peacefully on January 19, 2017, in Moorpark, California surrounded by her family. Phyllis’s battle with cancer was a true lesson of grace and dignity for all who were by her side. Phyllis was born in Wayne, West Virginia to Robert and Hallie Lambert on June 25, 1941. She attended Logan High School and graduated in 1959. Phyllis married Leonard Kendall Wyatt on February 14, 1965, in Ventura, California. They had 3 children, Jeffery, Michael and Stephanie and moved to Somis, California where they lived for 13 years. Phyllis and Leonard moved to Thousand Oaks, California where they lived for the next 15 years before she retired as the Vice President of Marketing from Charter Pacific Bank in Agoura Hills, California. After they retired they moved to Pleasant View, Colorado where they built a beautiful farm for all to enjoy. After many great years in Colorado they decided to move to Kingman, Arizona to be closer to their children and grandchildren in California and to be closer to their family in Kingman. In Kingman, Phyllis enjoyed entertaining family and friends with beautiful dinners for all to enjoy. When her family came to visit she enjoyed baking and cooking with her grandkids. Phyllis always took pride in her home and she decorated for every holiday, as entertaining was her passion. Everything always looked and tasted perfect, down to the last detail. Phyllis’s love for her family was her top priority. She always made sure everyone had what they needed and then some. She never complained about anything and always went through life with a smile on her face. Phyllis had a deep abiding faith in God and was always active in church school growing up and loved volunteering in the church nursery as an adult. Phyllis is preceded in death by her mother and father, Hallie and Robert Lambert and brother William J Lambert and her husband of 48 year, Leonard Kendall Wyatt. Phyllis is survived by her son Jeff and his wife Deborah, son Michael, daughter Stephanie and her husband Ted, her sisters; Rae Lambert, Peggy Lambert and her brother Bob Lambert. Phyllis had eight beautiful grandchildren; Jenna, Tyler, Emily, Sarah, Delani, Grace, Brooklynn and Cassidy. As well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Phyllis was the best example of a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend that anyone could ever ask for. All who knew her where truly blessed. We, Phyllis’s family, wish to extend our sincerest thank you to our mother’s friends Joanne, Rhonda, Marcia and Karen. Your love and care for our mother in her time of need was a beautiful expression of friendship. Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Mary Health of the Sick in Newbury Park, CA and Christian Appalachian Project Lexington, KY.
