Gloria Faith Sherman of Thousand Oaks, California passed away on November 27, 2016.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio August 4, 1929 to Willis and Alice Harman.
She met Alexander Sherman at church and they were married on September 3, 1949 until August 2013 when he passed away. They had three children while living in Ohio.
The family moved to Thousand Oaks, California in 1968. She worked at Burroughs Westlake for many years and later enjoyed being an Avon consultant. She was an active member of The Church Of The Nazarene in Newbury Park, California. Her strong faith was a great influence on her life, family, friends and well being.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, enjoyed art, nature, playing the piano and letter writing.
Her positive attitude and gentle spirit were her great attributes. She appreciated everything about life and never took it for granted.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Jones of Tujunga, California and her daughters Sabrina and Kara and great granddaughter September, son Wesley of San Diego, California, and son Arthur and daughter-in-law Jennifer and their sons Nicholas and Conner of Simi Valley, California.
A graveside service will be held at Ivy Lawn Cemetery in Ventura, California on December 8th at 11:00 AM with pastor Josh Matlock officiating.
