Growing up next to my grandparents and seeing them everyday was something I thought a little bit like a real life Everybody Loves Raymond. I look back now and every day that I mature I see this as my most precious gift God has given me other than my wife and children. My grandmother was very much involved in my life and was essentially my second mom. She cooked for me, cleaned for me, gave me advise I didn't ask for and made me laugh harder than anyone else could. I am happy to say I am still finding out new things about her years after her passing and see more and more that her and I saw eye to eye on a lot of things. I could talk about my grandmother and her hilarious stories for hours and am reminded of her daily. We all miss her. The only thing that makes this okay is that she is in the Lord's loving arms forever. I know without a doubt that God spent a little extra time on Sandy when He made her and Heaven got just a little bit louder and a little more laughter. I love my grandmother with all of my heart.

Bruce, Matt, Jennie. Since we moved to Georgia in 2006, we have often thought of you guys and how much we had always loved getting together and enjoyed your company and friendship. We've lost a lot of our phone records, so I went online today, May 24, 2017, to see if we could find contact information for you guys to give you a call. We were shocked to find out about Sandy. We are so very saddened by your/our loss but so happy that she loved the Lord and is in His hands where we all hope to be one day. Where I grew up on Langside, was a magical place. There was always an adventure to go on, and always something to discover. Looking back now I realize that it was because we always had a neighborhood full of moms like Sandy to watch after us and protect us, but let us have the freedom to be kids. Though I haven't seen her in many years, she still holds a place in my heart.

Sandy Blake was a cherished and rare person. Our lives have been so blessed in having had her. Sandy will forever be in our hearts and soon we'll all celebrate together when Jesus calls us home. I love you my sweet friend.....Judy
