We are heartbroken at the loss of our dear friend and teacher. Jaime was unforgettable. Her kind, nurturing and silly ways with her kids. They all chased her around and she always let them, no matter if she was tired or not in the mood, she was always happy and made everyone of her kiddos feel special.
As a friend to Rachel for many years, while they worked a classroom away, they kept one another laughing and smiling all day. We started our morning with a laugh and smile. She always had the right things to say when things got crazy. I will miss her smile and laugh.
She was my child's teacher with Ms. Amy and Jaime babysat for us as well. She was a friend, and the first person to motivate my child, Max, to learn. We will never forget her.
Max has told Rachel and I that when we see the biggest most beautiful butterfly, it will be Jaime, showing us that she is ok.
We will always remember her, and our heart goes out to her family. She is in god's hands now and will always be beautiful, young, happy, and free of pain. We will miss you our friend!

I didn't know Jamie well, but saw her strength and courage through Facebook posts and talk with her mother-in-law, Maurine Perkins. What I knew of her was very powerful. She fought hard, and will be greatly missed.

I knew Jamie very well several years ago. We used to hang out at with a lot of the same people. She taught my now husband and I how to play a few fun card games when the nights were mellow. She also always asked her Boyfriend at the time, Choco to play Nutshell by Alice and Chains and wanted me to sing it. She was so encouraging of peoples dreams and talents. It'll be sometime before I can even listen to that song again. You will be missed dearly, sweet Jamie. We are all better for having known you. Sending my love to the entire family.

I met Jamie in High School through other friends, and while we were never close-she was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Never a bad or mean thing to say about or to anyone.
She will be deeply missed.

Our sincerest sympathy and prayers to Jamie's family. We were part of the Pinecrest family and although my son was never in "Miss Jamie's" class, she was always quick with a smile and conversation when I would pick him up. She was such a sweet and gentle person and had a wonderful and loving impact on all who knew her. God bless you all. And God bless Jamie.

To the sweetest, kindest, most generous person I had the privilege of knowing, you will be so very missed by so many people. You always welcomed me with open arms and always made me feel special. I will miss you very much. I will miss your sweet voice and your beautiful smile. Your warm heart and your funny jokes. Thank you for choosing me to be part of your life. I still feel special...you still make me feel included, even now.
