Kurt and Greg were my mentors in the Prudential Technology traveling team. They made a great executive duo. I did lose track of both gentlemen afterwards, but the tech road they set me on is helping me in my work today. I'm ever-grateful for my time with Kurt.

My family and I were deeply saddened to hear about Kurt's illness and passing. I remember the many baseball games and practices we shared across 3 seasons. His love of coaching and sharing the Baseball experience with his son Chris were unforgettable. We shared some amazing victories and experiences on the field and Kurt was always proud of his son and our team. My son Jonas will always remember the "quick release" technique Kurt showed him. I will always remember his sincerity, caring and love of his son Chris and family that I often heard about. He made an indelible impact on Knapp Ranch Baseball and all the lives of players, parents and coaches he came in contact with. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Gillhaus family,
I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of your husband, and more important Dad. I had the honor and privilege of knowing Kurt through work and then like everyone else in Kurt's life, created a long lasting and personal relationship. Kurt took me under his wing early on in my career and will never forget the lessons, battles, laughter and pure enjoyment that we had together. Kurt never forgot me even though we stopped working together many years ago. Kurt was a great friend, I am sure a great Husband, but even better father. The world lost a good one...

We will not only miss Kurt's wonderful amazing shining personality, but also that terrific quick wit. What a spirit he possessed! He could light up a room when he would speak about his beautiful family.... or anything for that matter. WE will miss him so so much. I feel blessed and honored I had the chance to be part of his life. May you rest in peace, Kurt. You will be the BEST angel ever!

I am so sorry to hear of Kurt's passing. Such a loss. I went to college with Kurt and was a fraternity brother. He was a few years behind me but I stuck around longer than I wanted to but the upside was getting to know Kurt. What a nice guy. Funny, smart and caring. Very sad to hear he is gone. So sorry.

My deepest condolences. Kurt was a fraternity brother of mine at Alpha Sigma Phi at Rutgers. Actuall he was my "big brother". He was truly a great person, a natural leader and always presented himself with class. Lots of great college memories. My only regret is I didn't do a better job of keeping in touch all these years. He will be missed and we all loved him...Gerry Hodulik, Alpha Sigma Phi class of 1986....

Suzanne, Eric, Christopher and Carly,
Life leads us through so many difficult times that we would never have chosen. God has chosen us for His special love, grace and strength for those difficult times now and forever. We pray that you and your precious family can feel, know and connect to the strength of God, your friends and your family in this immeasurably difficult time. We love you and know that Kurt's life and those wonderful years full of memories will always live through you and your children together.

Kurt - If I live to be 110, I will smile every time I hear that name. So many great memories over 25 years from your incredible wedding (I was privileged to be with you when you went to taste and select the food) to all the 100's maybe 1000's of business trips, conventions, presentations and the incredible teams we had the fun and honor to lead and be part of. We won those battles in a big way and with him always humor, confidence and just having a blast even if logging 80 plus hours. A born leader, extremely intelligent with an incredible ability to push the boundaries and earn trust. Being Dad - everything to him as with me. Husband - ditto. I have met other great men that have blessed my life but Kurt leads that arena by miles. My best friend - We love him and we know that no matter how much or to what degree – God loves him more, he is his creation - now together waiting in eternity where we will all join them one day.
I could not say this enough but thank you Kurt.............

I am stunned as well as saddened to hear that we lost one of the truly great human beings on planet earth. I was so glad I got to first work with Kurt and later become a friend and spend some time with Kurt when we weren't working. I was always so impressed with how smart he was and yet he had the ability to explain almost anything in layman's terms... so I could actually understand the subject matter. Most of all, I loved how he loved to laugh. He was so full of joy! Rest in peace my friend!

There are never enough words to express what a loss of a dear husband and father may mean to those who have never experienced what to say to heal the wounds of condolences. Kurt always had a soft smile and kindness around him. I have watched Chris grow since Kindergarten and have had the pleasure to volunteer along side Suzanne and Kurt. This family has suffered and watched a very young man give -I can imagine- a tough fight to survive. We send you all warmest condolences and prayers for healing and peace in this very challenging time. With love. Heather, steve, Ryan and Zachary
