Obituary of Anthony "Tony" Aguirre

Anthony “Tony” Aguirre of Simi Valley, California passed away October 21, 2015. After a short courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 43 years old. Tony was born on November 17, 1971 in Los Angeles to his parents Antonio and Margarita Aguirre. He was an only child. He grew up and went to school in Los Angeles, where he graduated from Daniel Murphy high school and earned his bachelor’s, and master’s degree from Long Beach State. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed watching his son play baseball. Very proud of his daughter for graduating high school and on her way to college on becoming a young adult. Tony was part of another family, that was the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. He started at a young age of as an explorer, then cadet and was hired by Ventura County in 1994. He worked many different areas within the department. His last position as Sergeant in major crimes and was well respected and loved. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, daughter Sarah, son Anthony Michael and his parents. We will truly miss him.
