I'm a little late here but I wanted to pass along my condolences. I played at Upland High for Coach Ulloa and he was a great coach and an even better human being. He really took me under his wing when I was playing up as a Sophomore. Gave me great advice, and picked me up after I made mistakes. I'm sure he is missed each and every day. May he rest in peace.
Namaste,
Greg Fiorindo

My heart hurts for this unexpected passing of dear Uncle Eddie. I am happy to have had Uncle Eddie as part of the Montes family for decades. He made a big impact in my life at crisis turning points. He showed me that he cared much for me and for my daughter. My heartfelt condolences go out to Aunt Stella, Eddie, Darlene, John, and Denise. May God bless you and grant you comfort during this difficult time.

I miss you so much right now. I don't know how to explain how I feel. With all the deaths I've witnessed, I've come to realize that some people leave bigger voids in the world than others. You are one of those people. You were so beloved in life, and will be so missed. I think any person would hope to leave such a beneficial impact on the world. I do.

Coach, you lived a wonderful life and brought happiness to so many people. Some of my favorite memories involve playing softball for you at Upland High. You worked us hard, but loved us too. I will never forget our pre-game Taco Bell dinners where we talked strategy, academics, boys, and so much more. I also cannot look up at the mountains without seeing the secret "bird" you showed us without thinking of you. You touched countless lives and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know you. My heart aches for your family and all the athletes that consider you family. Thank you for being an example to all of us.

Dear Ulloa family,
Your dad was one of a kind; an exceptional coach and even more exceptional man. I am SO thankful that I had the opportunity to play for Coach U! Our prayers go out to the entire Ulloa family. He made a lasting impact on thousands of teens throughout his coaching years. I so badly would love to see all of you this weekend but I will be out of town. I hope you have made arrangements for a very large turnout.
Love and respect,
The Komendat family

Thanks coach. You have touched so many lives. I played football in Japan and used the techniques that you taught me and the coaches all wanted to know where I learned to play like that. I always said coach ulloa and his son Ed. Thanks Rob
