Angelina Gay "Angie" died peacefully at her home in Simi Valley CA January 6,2015, in the presence of her family at 8:40pm. Angie is preceded in death by her beloved husband John, survived by their four children: Tim, Michael, Patricia and Gretchen, nine grandchildren: Greg, Sheena, Kristen, Dana, Tiffany, Jaqueline, Cole, Wessley and Rachael: three great grandchildren, Siena, Hannah and Westen. Also survived by her sister Maria.
Born Angelina Martin to Jacinto Martin and Consuelo Campos on September 6,1932 in Visalia CA. Angie was one of four girls.
She graduated from Watsonville HS in CA and was a pioneer in aviation by becoming a flight attendant for American Airlines at the age of 20. This was a long life dream she accomplished and was extremely proud of.
Angie enjoyed and loved her family and friends she had a smile that would light up the place, She loved animals, gardening and her glass of wine from time to time. Angie was a very dedicated wife to her beloved John whom she served faithfully until his passing. She was a woman of faith who loved the Lord and His word.
Angie loved to travel and socialize with her friends. She had a flare for dressing and was a beautiful woman inside and out; she will be greatly missed. Those of us who were blessed to have known her will forever be changed for having her in our lives.
