Obituary of Mark Spencer Cooper

Mark S. Cooper of Simi Valley, California passed away on Monday, July 14th, 2014 at home. He received his PhD in physics from the University of California at Berkley and had advanced degrees from MIT in electrical engineering. He worked at the Electrical Parts Engineering and Reliability Section at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. Previously he worked at the Aerospace Corporation, GTE Sylvania, and Litton Guidance and Control Systems. He was preceded in death by his parents Isidore and Florence Cooper. He is survived by his children Benjamin and Karen, his sister Merri-Ann, his daughter-in-law Veronica, and his companion and love Robin Covey. His survivors additionally include his grandchildren: Abigail, Alexander (Xander), Benjamin II, Matthew, and Sydney and his former wife Patricia. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Simi Valley, California at 10 AM. The family requests those choosing to make donations to send them to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
