Back in North Carolina, Kay and I were friends growing up, while David was a high school and college classmate. He was always one of the "good guys" - kind and polite to everyone. His dream was to live on the west coast, and he achieved that. When he got his Hummer, he sent me an photo announcement - he was really proud of it. Kay, those we hold dear never really leave us - David lives on in the joy he brought into your live. Jessie Lee

I was 10 when I met the Warner family, I am 50 now. When I think of my childhood I can't help but think of The Warner Family. My daily trips to their house after school help define a chapter of my life that includes Dave's green GTO, all of the coolest and latest and greatest technology as it evolved, a Ford Granada, cereal, a cool pool, southern accents, 777, Uncle Dan, a sister that was the fastest running and smartest person on the planet, piano lessons, a heartfelt letter from Kay when we tearfully moved away in 1980, KISS and the ever-present small attack dog named Foo-Foo or Fi-Fi or Mi-Mi or Bi-Bi or Gi-Gi that used to snort a lot and bite my shoe laces.
I cherish these childhood memories and am grateful to have shared part of my time here with David and his family.
Much Love,
Greg Gonzales

What a great gift is a life well lived!
A life of caring and giving, loving and sharing. A life of adventure, a life of family and friends, of enjoying a good movie all from a loving a kind soul such as David.
A life guided by GOD and lived as Jesus would have us live. To be kind, loving, gentle, true, to live with integrity, and to have a heart big enough to hold all those around him.
The people left behind and their love is a testament to the man, to the warm & genuine human being that is Mr. Warner.
So here is to you David, to a life well lived!! Go with GOD, be at peace, and know you are loved by all that you left behind. We stand secure in knowing we will all meet back up with you in heaven.
With Love Sincerely,
Jeff & Mary Stepek

I knew David as my brother's Father-in-Law for an all to brief time period. Whenever we got the two families together, David was always a kind, loving and Fun person to be around. I wish that I had gotten to know him better, but the love that I see in his family speaks truth about what a wonderful man he was.
I am happy that his suffering has ended and know that he is in a much better place! Hopefully, there is an off-road track with the coolest Hummer for him to drive in his Heaven.

We'll miss you specially when we walked Mia and Buddy even though so some strange reason we called you "Jack". We'll never forget the days you and Kay searched the wilderness of Simi looking for Mia. Your love and care for your neighbors goes unmatched.
