Debra Vincentia Wise 58 of Thousand Oaks California, passed away on April 6, 2013 after a brave battle with a long illness. Debra left us peaceably into God's embrace. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 19, 1954. Debra attended L'anse Creuse High School in Mount Clemens graduating in 1972. Debra enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1973 and after basic training, served in England and later Norton Airforce base in San Bernardino, California. Debra had many fond memories of life in England. Debra was Honorably discharged with to rank of sergeant in 1976. Debra fell in love with Southern California and made it her permanent home. Debra attended college at California State Los Angeles graduating with a degree of Bachelor of Science in medical technology in 1983. Debra was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and worked at several Southern California hospitals, most recently at West Hills Medical Center. Debra loved animals, and was never without her pet cats and gave to many animal and humane charities such as SPCA, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and City of Hope. Debra is survived by her mother Mrs. Jane Garrisi, brother Vincent Garrisi, sisters mary Fifelski and Joanne Mozuras in Michigan, and loving husband of 21 years Linden R. Wise of Thousand Oaks, California. Debra establixhed many long lasting friendships throughout her years in California and was the most considerate and kind person they could ever know. It will always be a true loss to our hearts not to see her beautiful smile and hear her great laugh. The loving memory of Debra will forever be in the hearts and thoughts of her husband Linden and family, she will greatly and be truly be missed. Funeral Services were at Chapel of the Oaks on April 12, 2013 with interment at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, CA. God bless you our darling Debra.
