Liz and Annie, my heart is aching for you. I am sorry that I was not able to come out to visit during her illness. The last time I called her we had a long talk about life. She was so elegant, always polished and dressed up. My fondest memories are of her driving the Nova around town—slowly, very slowly, attending Annie’s softball games, and influencing us with her driveway lectures. She was my second mom. Now I know her age, which she never would reveal! Love and hugs to you.

When Mom was making a purchase of any kind, she paid with cash. She would look at the dollar bill, whether it was a $20, $50, or sometimes a $100 dollar bill, and she would kiss the bill, and say"See you later Jackson!". The clerk would always laugh. this was my Moms sense of humor. Haha.....
