I knew Peter only a short time as a member of our SAR chapter (Gen Patton), but found him to be a quiet, dedicated member of the chapter. He was quiet and unassuming, but dedicated and loyal, an interesting conversationalist and conservative in outlook, interested in maintaining the foundational elements of America. It was painful to see him slow down and have difficulty in talking, but my memories will always be of his character and integrity, and faithfulness to the SAR.
