It’s been a year and a month and for no particular reason Cheryl was on my mind a lot today. I miss her dearly. We worked together for a few years while she apprenticed. We spent a lot of down-time together, talking, bickering, taking turns buying frozen yogurt. It was always her idea.
I wish I had listened to her more and talked less. I wish I had one more day with her. I’m as heart broken today as when I learned she had passed.

Wow, I'm so shocked and saddened to learn of Cheryl's death. I just googled her because I was telling my dad how wonderful she is. She and Lewis were an absolute gift from a Higher Power when my brother was suddenly found dead three years ago. They came right away and were so compassionate, kind, professional and reassuring. I so admire what Cheryl did in establishing Beacon Mortuary. What she started is revolutionizing the industry and remains an incredible legacy. She was a smart, beautiful badass who really inspired me and I'm forever grateful she followed her calling. I'm so so sorry for everyone's loss.

I got to know Cheryl when she would come care for our decedents in Riverside. She was one of few embalmers we would call upon, as she was very skilled and took great pride in her work. She would make the long drive to Riverside, no matter how late or how busy she was. I'll never forget when she had made the long drive after attending a very formal event still in her formal attire and proceeded to get to work without second thought. We'd have great conversations about life and our work in death. She was very caring and had a great deal of empathy toward others and their situation. She will be dearly missed. My sincerest condolences go out to her family and husband during this terrible time.

My sister was truly an amazing and loving person. She worked so hard to achieve her dream of helping others at the end of their lives or their loved ones lives. I love her and always will. She leaves a legacy and will live on through all those whose lives she impacted. I miss you sissy...

Deepest sympathies regarding the loss Cheryl. She was so young and had her whole life ahead of her. She'll be missed terribly. May the words at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 (the God of all comfort and tender mercies) comfort your family during this extremely difficult time.
