Obituary of Seemacaroline Arnold Parmar
Seemacaroline Arnold Parmar, 43, of Los Angeles, CA, passed away on April 23, 2017 in West Hills, CA after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral service will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 22220 Saticoy St. in Canoga Park, CA 91303 on May 6th, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Brother Eugene Hatia of Siyon House of Prayer officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park and Crematory, 22601 Lassen St. Chatsworth, CA, 91311. Visitation will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home Cremation on May 5th, 2017 at 5:00 PM.
Seema was born in Ahmedabad, India to Sureshchandra and Manorama Gamadia on February 5th, 1974. She went to St. Joseph’s English Teaching High School in Valsad and graduated in 1991. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Physics from South Gujarat University. She also earned a Master’s degree in Physics from Sardar Patel University in Anand, Gujarat. Additionally she held a Bachelor of Education degree from the same university. She worked as a teacher at Mother Mary’s High School for 2 years. She married Arnold J. Parmar in year 2000 and came to US in the year 2002. Her interests included reading, cooking, gardening and exploring God’s creation. Her favorite place to vacation was San Diego, CA. She was very hospitable and loved to entertain family and friends and spend quality time with them.
Seema accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior in 2005. Since then she had been faithful in reading her Bible, singing hymns, praying, and attending church services. She served as a Sunday school teacher at her local church. She devoted her life in sharing the love she received from Christ with all the dear ones especially the little children. Some of her favorite verses from the Bible which sustained her walk with Christ are Philippians 4:13, Romans 8:28, Isaiah 40:31.
Seema is survived by her husband Arnold J. Parmar, son Philip A. Parmar, her mother Manorama S. Gamadia, her brother Shem S. Gamadia, her sister-in-law Sevrin Gamadia and niece Serah S. Gamadia. She is preceded in death by her father, Sureshchandra M. Gamadia.
She will be remembered as a loving wife and a caring mother who always had a smile even when times were tough, and always graceful until God called her home. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7”
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, comforting words, prayers and all acts of kindness extended to them during her illness and passing away. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, the church and the Indian community.
