Evelyn Julia Bernadette Kubilus Gotts, 88 years young, West Hills, California 91307, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:29 a.m., from West Hills Hospital. Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on Sunday, February 21, 2016. The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Service at 11:00 am with Deacon Ray Rivera. of. Reception immediately following the service. Burial will be held the following day on Monday, February 22, 2016 @ 2 p.m., at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Evelyn J. Gotts was born on September 11, 1927 at St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford, Illinois to Julie C. Wallack Kubilus & Joseph Kubilus. She went and graduated from a Catholic Girls High school in Rockford Illinois. She worked as a Secretary. She enjoyed auctions, bowling, playing cards, dancing, singing, playing upwards, watching her favorite TV shows – Amazing Race, Shark Tank, Survivor, Golf. She enjoyed riding the grocery store cart while shopping for her groceries, singing with the Golden Aires, traveling with her family, and watching her children and grandchildren grow up and succeed in their careers. She received a bowling award and was involved in TOPS (Take off pounds sensibly) Evelyn is survived by her brother John Kubilus, Rockford, Ill. Sons and daughter William F. Gotts Jr., Rockford, IL, Frank Gotts ,Petoskey, MI and Valerie Shott, West Hill,CA. Her Grand Children are Jeffrey Gotts, Michael Shott with his wife Melissa, and Matthew Shott with his wife Amanda, and her Greatgrandchild Emma Shott. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
