Throughout my teenaged years, I always felt so comfortable and "at home" in the Beauchamp home--welcomed, accepted, liked, no matter how silly I behaved, in fact, the sillier the better! I was ALWAYS greeted by Mr. Beauchamp with a smile that would lighten the load on any stormy day. Then when I got married that welcoming friendship and spirit was passed on to my own family and endured until my own parents, who loved Don and Betty as close friends for at least 50 years, passed away. When my husband began a new ministry through Hospital Chaplains Ministry of America, it was Don and Betty who were among our very first supporters. The last picture I have of Mr. Beauchamp was of him smiling up at me with that broad, winning smile and again, beaming with acceptance and appreciation, encouraging me and spurring me on while I eulogized my own parents' lives. We extend our deepest condolences to the entire Beauchamp clan and we rejoice in knowing that we will meet again in Glory.
