Patricia Ann Rime, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at her home in Simi Valley, California, on November 12, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on September 29, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, Patricia brought warmth and joy to the many lives she touched.
Patricia’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether she was baking treats, cooking meals, or decorating for holidays with extraordinary care, Patricia created an atmosphere of love and togetherness which her family will forever treasure.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Rebecca Roldan and Jennifer Rime; her brothers, Bobby and Don; her sisters, Frances and Maria; her cherished grandchildren, Madelynn, Kaleb, Thor, Marcos “Tonka”, Alexandria, and Jezyka; her adored great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Dash, and Robinson; and her son-in-law, Marcos. She also leaves behind her best friend and former spouse, Mark Rime, who remained a steadfast source of support and love throughout her life.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Ignazio Charles and Marie Rose Marino; her brothers, Charles and Frederick; and her sisters, Carol and Mary. Their memories, along with hers, will live on in the hearts of all who loved them.
Patricia’s legacy is one of kindness, service, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Her family and friends will miss her deeply but find comfort in the countless joyful memories she leaves behind.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held in the near future where family and friends will gather to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites donations in Patricia’s memory to help with the recent unexpected expenses. Contributions may also be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) or St Jude’s, both are causes close to Patricia’s heart. For assistance with expenses, donations may be sent to Rebecca.
Patricia’s love was the foundation of her family, and her presence will be profoundly missed.
