Obituary of Nabor Silva

Nabor Silva Gonzalez, 87, returned to his heavenly home on November 5^th, 2024 after a valiant battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Nabor was born to the late Eusébio and Paulina Silva, in El Salitre, Tuzantla, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico on February 6, 1937.

Nabor was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend, Candida Silva.  Nabor helped raise his 6 children with discipline and humility.  He was kind and out-spoken, and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

Nabor is survived by his wife, Candida; his children Veronica, Clementina, Miguel, Luis, David and Inez and their families; his 10 amazing grandchildren and all of those he loved and touched deeply.  

Nabor will be laid to rest at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Simi Valley, California.
