Uncle David you were an amazing uncle to me I was always so excited and happy to hang out with my dad's family when I was a little girl. Even as I grew up I loved spending time with my dad's family. You will be so missed, till we met again. Your living the best life with God and Jesus miracles. I love you Uncle David you will be missed rest in paradise

I’m sending David’s loved ones my heartfelt condolences. ❤️
I first met David when he moved to Canoga Park and he was “the new guy” at Columbus Junior High. My cousin, Ginny and I would see him as he walked across the quad to the next class at the same time as we did. He was in a grade above us and this cute, well dressed boy, appeared to be very shy….as was Ginny. After a few smiles, friendly waves and “hello’s” it was obvious they were interested in each other, however, neither would initiate a conversation! They were both so unbelievably shy (and I was not) so eventually I initiated conversations between them and it became a “thing” that we three would walk across the quad together. He would wait at the same spot everyday….their faces would light up when they saw each other! Young love…first loves!
Ginny and I became young Mommies within two days of each other. After that, anytime I would see David, he would light up when asked about his kids and he’d show me photographs. Through the years, especially after Ginny’s death, I saw less and less of him. It saddens me that he struggled with illness and has left this earth. It makes my heart glad that he leaves behind a legacy of love for his children and grandchildren.
Rest in peace David, give Ginny a hug for me. ❤️

I will always remember the good, the positives of my life with David and the friendship we shared over the years through long talks on a phone call. He always shared his love for his family and his grandchildren. I pray peace and comfort for your family as you mourn the loss of a father and grandfather. David’s fight is over and l feel comfort in knowing he is in the presence of his all knowing and Savior, Jesus!
