I knew Ardath from King of Glory. After church there was always coffee and donuts and a time to catch up with parishioners and what was happening in their lives. I loved to visit with Dick and Ardath. Ardath had a great sense of humor! And I always felt the love between Dick and Ardath. I remember of her telling a story about admiring a cabin..and how Dick unbeknownst to her purchased it! The smiles and laughter between these two wonderful people was an example of how couples ought to laugh and live and love.

To the Schwartz family, we share your loss of Ardath. Ardath enjoyed life and brought that joy to our church, whether at worship or feeding the homeless. She participated in collecting suitcases for Interface (battered women’s shelter), women’s retreats, and the fiftieth King Of Glory Lutheran Church anniversary. Her wit made every burden light. She helped care for her mother, who had Alzheimer’s, raised a wonderful family, and made career moves all over. Ardath is in our hearts forever.

My sincerest condolences to Richard Schwartz and entire Schwartz family & grandchildren. I only knew Ardath for 19 months, but she and I became good friends. The entire family touched my heart dearly. Ardath was a loving soul. Her and I did a lot of laughing and was a light in my life. I feel honored to have gotten to know her and be there for her to the end. I will never forget you Ardath my friend. I will love you always.
