Obituary of David John Hart

David John Hart 76yrs old, of Simi Valley, Ca passed away on Febuary 3 2023, in Thousand Oaks, Ca from natural causes.

Funeral service will be held at St. Rose of Lima in Simi Valley, Ca on 2/18/23 at 1pm with Reverends Fr. Luis Estrada  and Fr. John Moloney of the Catholic Church officiating. A private burial will follow at Eternal Valley in Newhall, Ca at a later date. Rose Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

David J. Hart was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to Hester Williams and Frank Silvia.  David was then adopted by Richard Hart who raised him into the man he would become. He went to high school at Hart High and graduated in 1965.  From there he would go onto earn a Master’s Degree in Law from Southwestern Law University.  He then began working as an Attorney for the Los Angeles District Attorneys office for a period of time then eventually opened his own firm The law Office of David J. Hart which operated for 46 years until his death. David never stopped working hard, he continued practicing law even after a near death experience from Covid.   

He enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, boating, reading and furthering his education. He received Rotary honors for his dedication with the Simi Valley Sunrise Group and was involved in multiple charities to help people further themselves.

David J. Hart is survived by his mother Hester Williams son Jonathan Hart and his grandchildren Colton Hart and Leah Hart, brothers Richard Hart and Jeff Hart with numerous nephews and nieces. Also survived by David’s love of his life Karen Nuzback and her Children Christina Conner and Jenna Nuzback with grandchildren Andrew Trupiano, Grace Nuzback and Joshua Nuzback.  Jonathan’s Fiancée Dee Intapatana, his first wife Christine Coey and lifelong friend Roman Burian. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone who David touched over the years. Special thanks to Christina Conner and her husband Blain Conner for their help and support through this.
