Obituary of Amelia Avalos Orozco
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amelia A. Orozco on November 12, 2022, surrounded by family who loved her very much. She passed away at the age of 72 years after battling liver disease. Amelia is survived by her husband Jose Reynaldo, their six children Arturo, Antonio, Gabriela, Alfredo, Hector, Nickolas, their spouses and her 15 grandchildren. Amelia is also survived by her sister, Luz and her brother Guillermo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anita Soto Avalos and Pedro Avalos. Amelia was born September 30, 1950 in Morelia, Mexico. In 1974, leaving everything behind to start a new life, she and her husband migrated to the United States at the age of 24 with 4 children. She had a loving marriage for 54 years residing in Moorpark, California. She worked hard to help provide for her family, though, her passion was bringing family together with her delicious food.
