Obituary of Charles Hearn

Charles (“Chuck”) Hearn, 86, of Valencia, Ca., passed away on July 27th in Lakeview Terrace, Ca.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at Rose Family Funeral Home on August 18th with Reverend Thomas Owens officiating. Visitation will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on August 18th at 10:00 am. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Charles was born in Alton, Illinois to Elder Thomas J. Hearn and Missionary Arilla B. Hearn on November 1, 1935. He went to high school at Alton Sr. High School and graduated in 1953. He also attended Southern Illinois University, Metropolitan State University in Denver, Co., and California State University in Northridge, Ca. majoring in Business Management. He owned his own Real Estate Brokerage firm, C San Enterprises. He enjoyed reading, listening to gospel music, and spending time with his family and loved ones.  

Charles is survived by his adoptive brother, Marshall Hearn of Alton, Illinois, Cynthia Lynne Hearn of Waldorf, Maryland, and Charles Phillip Hearn of Valencia, California, and several grandchildren, Steven Morrow, Melanie Morrow, Caitlin Fields-Hearn, Thomas Fields-Hearn, Andrew Fields-Hearn and several great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Thomas J. Hearn and Missionary Arilla B. Hearn, and a daughter Joceyln Nadine Hearn.
