Obituary of Joyce Jeanette Park
Joyce Jeanette (Holmquist) Park of Kimball, South Dakota passed away on February 8th, 2022, in Temecula, California.
Joyce Park was born in Kimball, South Dakota to Anton and Alice Holmquist on January 18th, 1937. Joyce went to high school at Kimball High School and graduated from Venice High School Ca. in 1955. Joyce worked as a Cashier and Bookkeeper for Alpha Beta for numerous years. She enjoyed Playing Softball, Managing Girls softball, Bowling Leagues and Walking. A lifelong Dodger fan and enjoyed spring training games in Arizona. She spent her retirement living in Murrieta Ca.
Joyce is survived by her children Harold Garrow of Frankston Texas, Frank Garrow of Phoenix Arizona, Marcie Douglas of Temecula Ca. Also, grandchildren Samantha Garrow, Robert Douglas, Patrick Douglas and one great grandchild Ryleigh and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband William J. Park (1987) and all her siblings: Hannah Mae, John Jack, Julia Ann, Floyd William, Gene, Dick, James (Bud), Gerald August, Robert (Pete) and their parents Anton and Alice.
Funeral service will be held at grave side at Oakwood Memorial; Chatsworth Ca. on March 4th, 2022, at 1:45 pm.
