Obituary of Anna Maria Sforza

Anna Maria Sforza, 86, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on January 17, 2022 in Simi Valley.   

Funeral service will be held for immediate family only at Rose Family Funeral Home on January 31, 2022 at 10:00 am with Deacon Melecio of St. Peter Claver officiating.  A small outdoor service and burial will follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave. Mission Hills, CA 91345 on January 31, 2022 at 11:30 am.  Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Anna Maria Sforza was born in Bari, Italy to Ernesto and Antonia Sforza on December 22, 1935.  She went to school in Italy to earn her degree as a Seamstress.   

She worked as a Seamstress for 65 years and owned her own garment industry business in New York City.  She also worked for 10 years at our Family Italian Deli/Restaurant in Simi Valley.   

Anna Maria Sforza is survived by her Sister; Silvana Catuogno of Simi Valley and Marie Childress of Conway, SC and family.  

In lieu of flowers or gifts a memorial donation may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, stjude.org in honor of Anna Maria Sforza.

Anna Maria Sforza always enjoyed being in the kitchen to prepare a weekly traditional Italian family dinner bringing the whole family together.  She loved tending to her gardens and as a Seamstress she enjoyed altering family and friends’ wardrobes for their special occasions.
