Auntie you will be missed. I’m glad I got the honor to get to know you a little better the last few months. Wish it had been under better circumstances. Thank you for sharing your smile, stories of family and your great big heart. Love you and will miss you. Cookie

I only knew Ann a very short time.
But those few weeks are incredibly precious to me.
She lived an extraordinary life and had an amazing outlook despite so many challenges she had to face.
My only regret of her passing is that we did not get to spend more time together. I know she wanted to ride a train along the coast and see the beach, sadly, we were not able to have that experience together.
I pray she’s resting in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
I will miss her deeply. : (

It wasn’t a matter of coincidence that I moved to Los Angeles around the same time Aunt Ann moved to Simi Valley. Because during that time it was obvious we both in fact needed each other. I was blessed with the opportunity to experience new adventures with her and man did that woman always bring the energy and stories.
What I am most appreciative of is the support we provided one another as we both learned to adapt to our new homes. Aunt Ann was that familiar face that helped me adjust to an unfamiliar home. I am forever grateful for her and the smile she consistently brought to every conversation and interaction. I promise I won’t stop smiling every time I think of you and incredible times we shared exploring California.
Love you to pieces Aunt Ann.
