Obituary of Alice Ochoa
Please share a memory of Alice to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Alice L. Ochoa passed away on September 9th, 2013 just one month shy of her 97th birthday. Alice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Hector Ochoa, three daughters, Irene Norwood, Elaine Albanese, Yvonne Swanson, 13grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her son, Robert Garcia. Alice and Hector were fortunate to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary last November. Alice was an affectionate, forthright, headstrong individual, and as such, was an inspiration to family and friends. We recall her sharp wit and quips of common-sense wisdom that she candidly shared with us all. She leaves us with fond memories and we will miss her unique character immensely. We pay tribute and give thanks for the love and care she contributed to our lives on Friday September 13th 11am at Saint Peter Claver church. Internment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Simi Valley.
The family would like to thank the wonderful care provided at Christian Home for the Elderly in Simi Valley during her last year of life.
