I'm so sorry to hear about Jackie's passing. She was a well known patient of mine who I have enjoyed seeing for several years. We had numerous meaningful conversations about her family, usually about Nate, whose mother Holly was my patient many years ago. She was a pleasure to get to know and I looked forward to our chats. I'm sorry for your loss.

Your mother was a special friend. We were grateful to have you all as neighbors. I can still hear your mom’s beautiful laughter! We were blessed to be able to visit her and your dad in our RV in Arkansas. We had a wonderful time together and continued to chat with your mom on the phone quite frequently.
She called me and we spoke just a couple of weeks before she went to be with the Lord. We will miss her sweet spirit. She was such a lovely, caring, and happy person. We send our love and prayers for you all.

With sincere condolences to the family.
I have so many fond childhood memories growing up with the Daste' family.
Jackie had a sense of humor and laughter that was contagious. I think sometimes her and I would just see who could get the most laughs.
She will definately be entertaining Joel (Herman lol) again in heaven.
One thing for certain was her deep loyalty to her profession.
She adored and was proud of each of her children and their accomplishments.
She will never be forgotten.

I was lucky to have worked with Jackie at GHCH. You couldn’t find a more loving, caring and kind lady. A dedicated nurse. I will always remember her with fond memories.
My deepest condolences to the entire family.
So Fondly,

Jackie,
I will never ever forget you in all my years. You will be missed by all who knew you, especially me. Thanks for the friendship all these years even after you took such great care of my in laws, Ann and Phil, who were on Hospice when they lived in Northridge. You made them more than happy and they loved and adored you and always waited in great anticipation, for your visit. And after they passed, you always emailed me and Sam, acknowledging their birthdays. There will never be another you. Rest in peace sweet girl and may your memory be a blessing. I love you always and forever. Love, Phyllis Spital

I met Jackie when she came to Granada Hills Hospice in 1980. I had started as a volunteer in 1979, along with another dear friend to both of us,Rita Noto. Jackie and I just fit perfectly together and were friends socially and in the practice of our faith. Jackie came to the same community where I lived as a retirement choice and her family and husband were kind enough to share their love with me and to be a part of my wedding in 2000.I have loved this woman for so long, I cannot imagine not hearing her funny remarks ever again. Jackie was such a kick and such a good friend for many years . She became friends with my sister also. They both departed within one week of each other, and I will always picture Jackie,Mary Jane, Joel and Tom painfree forever and together. My love of the Daste daughters and son will continue forever.

My condolences to the Daste family. Jackie was truly a beautiful and sweet lady. She always made me feel loved in her home. As teenagers we all used to hang out at the Daste’s house talking, laughing, and throwing parties. Joel and Jackie always asked me how I was doing or how was work going. That’s how they were, always caring. Jackie’s smile and warm heart made her a lovely woman. I will miss her and will remember her in my prayers.

My love and condolences to the Dasté family on this very sad occasion. I am an old friend of Holly's, and have therefore had the great fortune of knowing Jackie, who welcomed me into her clan as if I was one of her own. She was such a kind and loving human, and while I didn't know the details of her trailblazing and lady spitfire past until now, it comes as absolutely no surprise - not only because of the ever-present gleam in her eye, but because of the joyous and warm energy that drew those of us who were lucky enough to be in her orbit closer to her. Beyond all of her many accomplishments, it is my heartfelt belief that her truest legacy is her children, through whom her spirit will live on. Hilary, Heidi, Chris, and Holly are truly some of the kindest, most loving people you will ever meet - what a testament to both Jackie and Joel they all are.
Rest in peace, Jackie. We will miss you.
