Mildred Beatrice “Millie” Ekstrom, 99, of North Hills California, passed away on March 20, 2021 in North Hills, In her own home. 

Funeral service will be held at San Fernando Mission Chapel Rey, April 5, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. withReverend Kevin officiating. Burial will follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery,  11160 Stranwood Avenue,  Mission Hills.   The Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.  Millie was born in Berkley, Massachusetts to Mary and Antone Rose on June 10 1921.   She went to high school in Dighton and graduated in1940. She enrolled in Truesdale Hospital in Fall River, now Charleton Memorial and continued studies for 2 years.  She worked in Boston for 2 years.  She met her future Husband, Harold Greblo, a Pharmacist mate in the U. S. Navy, and married him at age 21.  She moved west with Harold and enjoyed raising her five children first in the Pacific Northwest and later in southern California where she remained for 62 years. Her hobbies were cooking and ceramics, both which she turned into businesses.  Catering and porcelain dollmaking, as well as ceramics.  After 36 years of marriage Mildred lost her spouse to illness.  6 years later she met and married her 2nd husband Howard.  They had a wonderful life together for many years, sharing adult children and numerous grandchildren.

Millie is survived by her children Harold Greblo of Saginaw, Mi., James Greblo(Marcia) of Marina, Ca., Maryanne Pungrchar (Russ) of Simi Valley, Ca., Joe Greblo(Kris) of Sunland Tujunga , Ca., Margaret Bailey (Wayne) and her Grandchildren, Gina, Jenny,Kristin, Kara, Rusty, Lyndsey, Jimmy, Cynthia, Johnny, Christina, Kelly and Miah, many great grandchildren, step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her Spouses, Harold Greblo and Howard Ekstrom, Her parents, and her 6 sisters.
