Vahan (Mickey) Markarian, 94, of Santa Monica, CA, passed away on November 6, 2020 in Mission Hills, CA.
Vahan was born in Istanbul, Turkey to Harutyun and Armenuhi Markarian on February 25, 1926. He immigrated to America in 1970 and proudly became a citizen. He had a long career as a skilled printer. His many hobbies included baking and exploring the seashore – always finding joy and easily making new friends.
Vahan is survived by his children Raffi, Tina and Marylinn, grandsons Isaac and Jaden Markarian-Thomas, nephews John and James and niece Linda. He is preceded in death by his brother Hagop and wife Janet.
