Dear Karen,
I just today came across the notice that Bob has passed from this life.
You and I have never met. Bob and I were friends from grade school through high school. We went our separate ways for college, and life took us in different directions. I recall so many things with Bob...from riding bikes in Marinwood where his mom worked, to high school football, going surfing at Bolinas, a trip to Mexico with Bob and Cathy, and a memorable road trip to Big Sur together in my dad's MG sports car. What I remember most of Bob was his smile and his laugh.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Memories are precious but the don't fill the space where once a person laughed, loved, smiled, did all the little things that make up life. Please know that my thoughts are with you, and that Bob, I'm sure, is holding you as warmly as ever.

Dear Karen, Todd, Travis and Tyler
abbie and I are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing.
Last week was 50 years since our wedding and i included some photos of Bob from our wedding.
We met at Matador camp in 1965 before starting SFVSC “ valley state” and pledging Delta Upsilon
I remember driviing up to UOP in stockton together
Dart games at our apartment on Thursday nights while Karen was in night classes, many New years eves together and so much more
It is a shame how our lives become complex with children, careers, relocations, grandchildren and so much more. We promise to meet and catch up but sometimes these promises end up on a back burner as other family things take priority
I am so glad that we got to spend a few moments in the Costco parking lot catching up and wish i had found more opportunities to spend time with you both.
May his memoty be a blessing to all who knew and loved him
Much love
Abbie and jeff Rapport

Dear Jeff and Abby,
It’s bee n a bit ver a year and I just saw this today. It has been a journey I never wanted to take. It has been the hardest journey I have ever taken. The memories you shared are treasures. You were such a special part of Bob’s life. A missing piece a grief I never knew existed. When you love someone as Much as we loved each other grief is the true expression of that.
Much Love,
Karen

Dear Tom,
It has been over a year since I lost Bob, and I am just seeing this for the first time today. This has been the hardest journey of my life, and a grief like no other. It was so nice to read your words, as Bob too often spoke about your time together and the fun you both had being the new kids on the block.
Again thank you and love to your family,
Karen
