Obituary of Lirio A. Tiglao

Lirio Austria Tiglao, 72, of Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines, passed away on October 13TH, 2019 in Simi Valley, CA.

Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on October 19th, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Andy Mattick of Simi Valley United Methodist Church officiating. Crematory will follow at Oakwood Crematorium, Chatsworth, CA. Visitation will be held at Oakwood Crematorium on October 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Lirio Austria Tiglao  was born in Angeles City to Pelagia Cruz Austria & Demetrio D. Austria on January 17, 1947. She went to high school at Republic Central College and graduated in 1963. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Republic Central College. She worked as a teacher  for Mabalacat Institute and Talimundok Elementary for 13 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, cleaning, and watching Filipino soap operas.

Lirio is survived by: her spouse, Manuel Tiglao; sons, Melvin Tiglao & Marlon Tiglao; daughters, Lovely Tiglao & Lady Ann Veliz; grandchildren, Sam, Max, Lily, & Julia; brother, Allen Austria; sisters, Eden Kahl, Carole Buck, & Joy Bunya.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to family, friends, Simi Valley United Methodist Church, & Rose Family Funeral Home.
